Mike is a brilliant teacher from start to finish he gives you encouragement and explains were you are going wrong and how to fix you mistakes.
He goes over all possible routes for the test, and explains to you about all the different roundabout and junctions on the test routes,
He gives you great confidence to go out there and pass your test.
I would highly recommend Mike to any learner driver or even experienced drivers going for test who are looking for lessons..

From start to finish Mike was always calm and help full, I was a nervious driver but Mike changed that with calm instructions and help full with what you are doing wrong and how you can improve but at the same time make in you feel good about the good parts that you are doing, made me feel so calm before my test, couldnt have done it with out Mike, thanks again

I must say that Mike is a really good teacher and anyone that wants to pass there test I would recommend Mike because he goes into so much detail with everything and tells you what your doing wright and wrong. I would just like to say thanks to Mike for all your help if it wasn't for you I probably would not have passed my test.

Had 5 lessons with Mike in the week coming up to my first Test. He was very welcoming and friendly and put me at ease. He was also very encouraging but at the same time let me know which parts of my driving needed to be worked on. He went over the routes in depth and took the time to explain any tricky parts. Passed first time as a result of his teaching and I'd recommend him to anyone!!

Mike was a brilliant instructor, really nice guy who made me feel relaxed and not too nervous on the roads. His texts to remind you of the lessons are a great idea!I would recommend him to anyone. He fits everything important and necessary into a lesson while still having the craic!

Passed my test with the help of Mike. Fantastic instructor that knows the test routes inside out. Very laid-back which puts a nervous driver at ease. Also the texts he sends the night before reminding you about a lesson are a nice touch. Would highly recommend Mike to anyone thinking of taking lessons in Castlebar.

I passed my test yesterday after 6 lessons with Mike. I had been driving a while and thought I didn’t have much to learn before a friend recommended Mike as an instructor. I had a lot more to learn than I thought (and a lot of bad habits I had picked up to rectify) but Mike thoroughly brought me through every single aspect of the test. He is easy to get on with and explains things very clearly, step by step. He is very accommodating with bookings and I love the way he texts a reminder the night before a lesson. I'd recommend this excellent instructor to anyone that wants to pass their test and become a better driver

I passed my test just last week thanks in large part to Mike, when I started to learn to drive with Mike I could literally start the car and that was it! But Mike's clear and patient teaching style affable manner and knowledge of exactly what is needed to not only pass the test but also to be a good driver meant that after a few weeks of lessons and practice I passed the test. I would highly recommend Mike (and already have!) to anyone wishing to learn, he's professional and highly capable and great value for money.

Passed my test today after 4 lessons and a pre-test with Michael. He gives good constructive criticism with an easy-going approach. He explains things clearly and makes sure you understand. Highly recommended.

I passed my test today on the first attempt after 7 lesssons with Mike. I found him to be an excellent instructor. He is understanding, easy to talk to, explains things very clearly and is very thorough in preparing you for all aspects of the test. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to pass their test first time.
